“Snow Bird” Pineapple Tepache kombucha is your winter escape to the tropics. Our first dual-fermented flavor, the Snow Bird recipe starts with making Tepache, a traditional Mexican beverage made by wild-fermenting entire pineapples with sugar (in this case, brown sugar) and cinnamon. The skins of the pineapples contribute their own wild yeasts that ferment the sugars present in the blend.
The fermented Tepache is then added to our base kombucha as a flavoring, the result of which is a fruity, spiced non-alcoholic cocktail that immediately transports you to tropical breezes, beachfront hammocks and the warm sun on your skin.
Always live cultured, probiotic, non-alcoholic (all live-cultured fermented foods may contain trace amounts of alcohol), low sugar, gluten-free and vegan. Keep refrigerated at all times.
